Patient Participation Group

The Aims of the Patient Participation Group

Are you interested in finding out more about your surgery? Would you like to influence or change how your surgery operates?

Why not join our PPG - Patient Participation Group and have your say. We hold meetings bi-monthly (between1-2pm) in our waiting room.

The Group is designed to provide suitable avenues for you to express any general opinions about our practice and to provide us with a means of consulting with you from time to time on issues such as what you think about our opening  times or the quality of the care or service you receive.  We will contact you via email and keep our surveys succinct so it shouldn’t take too much of your time.  We do value your comments so please do join us.

In the past two years the PPG have been involved with several events, such as cake sales and tombola to raise funds for the Practice. They have also supported the Practice with the organisation and attendance at The Carer’s Open Afternoon and the Emotional Wellbeing Open Afternoon. These two events included exhibitors from different organisations from Crawley. The PPG talked to the patients and made introductions to the most appropriate exhibitor. They have also supported the Practice in the distribution and completion of the Patient Satisfaction Survey on an annual basis. They do not get involved in medical matters

We aim to gather as many patients as possible from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, retirees, people with long-term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.

Alternatively if meetings are not for you then why not join our virtual patient participation group.
