Welcome to Bridge Medical Centre
Our aim is to provide high quality, safe, effective and compassionate care to all out patients. To work in partnership with them, their families and carers, ensuring that they are involved in all decision making regarding their care and treatment thus maintaining maximum levels of independence, choice and control.
We provide NHS medical services for approximately 10,900 patients. Our team is made up of five doctors, five nurses, one health care assistant and two phlebotomists. We are ably supported by one manager, two secretarial staff and twelve admin staff. In addition we have other community health practitioners at the practice supporting our patients, including our Midwife, Health visitor, Mental health liaison practitioner, Time to talk counsellors and Carers support worker.
We operate out of a purpose built (December 1990) doctors surgery in Three Bridges which is located just outside Crawley Town centre. We are within walking distance of Three Bridges train station, and on a mainline bus route. In addition we have ample parking for our patients.
Our disabled patients have full access to our building, there is an allocated disabled parking space with dropped kerbs for easy access. We have fully automated doors to the main reception area and our corridors are wide enough to accommodate wheelchair access. We are currently in the process of a refurbishment program in upgrading our facilities in line with current legislation.
Surgery Opening Hours
Our normal hours of opening are 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. We are closed during the lunch period 1.00 to 2.00pm, but in an emergency the surgery can be contacted via the telephone 01293 526025 and a clerical administrator will advise the best course of action.
EXTENDED ACCESS - We provide Extended Access for our patients and can offer pre-booked evening appointments on most Tuesdays between 6.30pm - 7.30pm. We also offer pre-booked telephone appointments on a variety of weekday evenings each week after 6.30pm.
Save time - do it Online!
GP online services gives patients the option to book appointment, request repeat prescriptions, access test results and view a summary of their GP records, using their computer, tablet or smart phone rather than having to phone or visit their practice.
Online services complement the existing ways patients can access appointments, prescriptions and their records. Our practice already has the facility to offer online access to records and transactional services for our patients.
If you are not already registered for GP online services please let a member of the practice team know you would like to use this service.
Once you are registered for our Online Service there is SystmOnline app available for Apple and Android devices. It can be downloaded free of charge from the relevant app store. The app allows you to manage aspect of your healthcare all from one place. It offers much of the same functionality as the online service. The app has extra functionality which includes: adding appointment to phone calendars and set reminders.

Visit a walk-in centre, minor injuries unit or urgent care centre if you have a minor illness or injury (cuts, sprains or rashes) and it can't wait until your GP surgery is open.
Ask your local pharmacist for advice – your pharmacist can give you advice for many common minor illnesses, such as diarrhoea, minor infections, headache, travel advice or sore throats.
Make an appointment with your GP if you are feeling unwell and it is not an emergency.
